Rrita Jashari is the music programmer at VK Concerts. She’s also a resident DJ at Kiosk Radio and one of the founders of Brussels-based 54KOLAKTIV and 54 Sound, Jamaican style handcrafted soundsystems.

  • Mameen 3Mamermaids : “Grooves by Gan Gah / Cheb Runner and DJ Sofa under the motto “No borders, no genres, Mameen3 exists’ I’m blown away by their productions and all the musical genres and era’s I can hear and feel in their music. They released two 7” vinyls on Bongo Joe and each track is amazing! I’m playing their tracks at all my DJ-sets and people always come up to ask what it is and where it’s from. Mamermaids never goes to climax but has this forward stepping groove and positivity that could be played on repeat for a very long time, if it’s up to me. I quite love mermaids, and can really imagine them having a chill out session “on the rocks” to this track”.
  • La DameRiacho : “Amazing DJ Carie, who just moved to Brussels, released an EP with global bass tracks, have a listen!

Coline Cornelis is a young Brussels-based artist who works as a production manager for PassaPorta, an international literature house. In addition to her illustrative skills, she also officiates as a DJ.

Souria Cheurfi is the editor in chief of Vice Belgium and the founder of Psst Mlle, pluridisciplinary events promoting female artists. She specialises in culture, women’s and LGBTQ rights, and music.

Nicolas Bucci is the programmator for Listen Festival, a Brussels-wide celebration of music and diversity, bringing together some of the most talented artists from Belgium and abroad. He’s also a DJ under the moniker Boochie.

  • CabasaValeyfield : “Cabasa is a Belgian artist exploring the boundaries between beatless and rhythmic frameworks. He will perform a live set at Listen! 2020 in November”.
  • Aksak MaboulBlaue Beistift : “Aksak Maboul is at the very core of Crammed Discs, label which we have the honour to welcome at Listen! 2020 for a night at VK on Tuesday 10 November. We are massive fans of this project by label founder Marc Hollander and his wife Veronique Vincent and we’re looking forward to the new album which will be out this spring”.

Jacques Prouvost is a blogger and journalist. He’s the man behind Jazzques, a jazz-oriented website filled with news, reviews and interviews.

Jeff Lemaire is the founder of Goûte Mes Disques, a Brussels-based musical webzine which covers a vast musical spectrum every month through various articles and reviews.

This Belgian-Congolese singer, based in Brussels, composes, sings and arranges her pieces herself. She delivers a deep and experimental soul.”
