Our curators choices for this month:

Gilles Vanneste is a freelance programmer. He is also the founder of Les Actionnaires, a collective who has been organizing many evenings focusing on alternative / independent “live” music in Brussels and Paris for more than 10 years.

Hélène Defosse is press officer for Igloo Records, an independent records company specialized in Jazz, World and Avant-Garde music since 1978. She’s also a board member at Voix de Femmes.

Sylvain Chauveau is a Brussels-based artist who has made solo records on labels such as FatCat, Sub Rosa, Type, Les Disques du Soleil et de l’Acier, Brocoli, Flau. He offers minimal, quiet compositions for acoustic instruments, electronics, and sometimes voice. He has played live around Europe, in North America, in Asia and in Russia.

Véronique Laurent is a freelance journalist for various media, including Larsen, a FWB Music Council magazine, and axelle, a feminist monthly newspaper for which she writes musical chronicles.

Angelina Tirard is co-founder of the pluridisciplinar festival Les Hallucinations Collectives and techno parties Red Bacon. Co-director of the feminist festival Ladyfest and active member of the Schiev Festival, she’s also in charge of production at the Halles de Schaerbeek venue.

Jean-Yves Reumont is head of communication for the hip-hop festival Les Ardentes. He’s also involved in the Ronquières Festival team or with the musical programmation of the venue Reflektor based in Liège.



Each month brings a new selection of tracks. Tracks from previous months are being added to a playlist called “Archives“.


Merlin Meuris is a Brussels based photographer whose practice consists in capturing a succession of happy coincidences through urban strolls.
